«Vestnik rentgenologii i radiologii» (Journal of Radiology) is the official journal of the Russian Association of Radiology. The history of the oldest Russian journal started in 1920.

The journal concerned with radiology and radiotherapy issues was a pioneer in development of Russian roentgenology and radiology. The «Vestnik rentgenologii i radiologii» covers such medical imaging methods as traditional roentgenology, CT, MRI, ultrasound investigation, radionuclide diagnostics.

It deals with variety of problems in roentgenocardiolody, neuroradiology, radiology of musculoskeletal pathology, pelvic, gastrointestinal and vascular disorders, oncologic radiology, radioprotection as well as with modern methods of radio and endovascular therapy in different areas of medicine.

The «Vestnik rentgenologii i radiologii» journal is included into the List of periodical academic and research publications issued in the Russian Federation and is published in Russian and in foreign languages. The journal is included in the list of peer-reviewed scientific journals recommended by the Supreme Attestation Commission of the Russian Federation to publish main results of the dissertations for the degree of Doctors and Candidates of medical Sciences. This journal is the official publication of the Russian Association of Radiology. It appears 6 times a year (once in two months).
